Spring Parent/Teacher Conferences
It's that time again! As I've shared it the past, it is law for us as a Title 1 to do Parent/Teacher conferences in the fall and spring. You will have a two week window to get them all done.
It is a requirement to meet with every parent. In person, over phone, or at their home. Please keep a sign in sheet.
It's important, especially at the spring conferences, to have the student present and part of the conference.
In 3rd-5th especially the students should really be leading the conferences.
Once yours are complete, please turn in the sign in sheet to Ms. Puentes.
Teacher, Para, and Rookie of the Year
Congrats to our Top 5 finalists in each category!
Voting is now open. Please select your top choice in each category. Winners will be announced the week we return from Spring Break.
Pennies for Patients
This year our Student Council is heading up Pennies for Patients. A fundraiser to raise money for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society. You'll be receiving information in your box and from Ms Klinke soon (if you haven't already!)
Speaking of Student Council...congrats to Ms Klinke and Ms Day for their work with our StuCo. Our kids were one of the Top 10 finalists of StuCos in the state who came up with a new theme song and theme for next year's StuCo. We didn't win, but top 10 is AWESOME!
Saturday School
Our first academic Saturday School is Saturday, March 23rd. It is for 3rd-5th grade students and will run from 9am-11am. 3rd-5th Teachers, please create a list of who will be there and have to me by Wednesday, March 20th so we can get volunteers to teach.
Be thinking about if you'd like to work Saturday School. It is $25 an hour you'd be paid.
